Mission: Deacons are nominated from among the members of the church who possess the qualifications recorded in scripture according to 1 Timothy 3:8-13.

Deacons serve as council of advice and conference with the Pastor in all matters pertaining to the welfare and work of the church. The Pastor and the deacons consider and formulate plans for the constant effort and progress of the church in all things that pertain to the saving of souls, the development of Christians, and the extension and growth of the Kingdom of God.  Deacons uphold and strengthen the arms of the Pastor in his labors.

They minister to the needs of others through Family Ministry.  Increase church school/Bible study attendance, prepare candidates for baptism, serve communion and visit our sick and shut-in members of the church and community, share in missions projects, and are participants in the Tape Ministry.
