The Fifth Street Baptist Church Child Development Centerseeks to ensure high quality early childhood education in an age appropriate early learning environment while meeting the needs of each child.

Each morning will begin with songs, scriptures and prayers. Throughout this time, Bible Characters and their stories will also be studied. Your child(ren) will have an opportunity to explore and learn through activities, field trips and special community guests. The program will also focus on community workers, nature, history, art and music.

The program hours are 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Children will receive breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.  The program will serve 2-5 year olds on a full day basis.  The after-school program, for ages 5-14, will operate from 2:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

The program cost is:      $95 for Full Day

                                    $45 for Before School (Only)

$75 for Before and After School Program

$60 for After School Program (Only)

Additional $10/Week Transportation Fee for

An additional $60 is required for field trips, activities, etc. for our full-day program. A $25 Non-refundable Registration Fee is also required.   

Pre-School Program

Classroom activities are planned so that the child can make choices and learn through experience.  The Center wants to prepare children for kindergarten by providing them with a variety of socialization opportunities.  Teachers plan daily activities, based on the age and stage development of the children in the classroom.  Activities are planned each day to help children learn new skills, work cooperatively and feel good about themselves.  Classroom staff work together to help children learn about; sharing, independence and respect for one’s self and others.
