Welcome to the Fifth Street Baptist Church! We are a diverse congregation committed to revealing the love of Christ within the Highland Park community, metro Richmond, and the world at large through worship, God’s work and the work of the missions.




In continuing our rich history, legacy and dedication to building community commitment to missions, we have just completed the G.R.A.C.E. Center, a multi-million dollar expansion building.  With this building’s completion, we can now offer the community and the church, a state certified daycare, after-school programs, computer laboratory and other wonderful ministry opportunities for persons of all ages and stages of life.

Our ministry is divided into five biblical principles: Worship, Fellowship, Discipleship (Christian Education), Missions and Evangelism. Through these principles the Christian church bridges together practical life skills and spiritual insights for daily living, and develops spiritual gifts so that the call to the work of God can be fulfilled.
